Background

For nearly 150 years, Louis Perdrier has offered a taste of Burgundian excellence in the world of sparkling wines. Born under the Kriter umbrella, a subsidiary of the esteemed historical producer Patriarche, it inherits a tradition of top-tier quality and elegant refinement.

Nestled in the heart of the Côte d'Or, Louis Perdrier benefits from terroir renowned for exceptional Chardonnay grapes. This key varietal forms the backbone of its blends, resulting in wines of exceptional richness and complexity.

Established in 1878, the brand honors Pierre-Louis Perdrier, a military hero and shrewd businessman who played a significant role in shaping Patriarche Père et Fils. Today, his legacy lives on in every meticulous step of production.

Unwavering meticulousness defines Louis Perdrier. From the precise composition of each blend, designed for consistent high quality, to the Charmat method of fermentation, every detail receives careful attention. This method involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of 9 months, ensuring a vibrant and refreshing character.

The result? Sparkling wines that embody Burgundian finesse, offering exceptional value for their rich heritage and dedication to quality.

Production Process

Chardonnay, Pinot noir, and Pinot blanc blend undergo a meticulous Burgundian process. The grapes from Côte d'Or are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks using the Charmat method. Aging on lees adds richness and complexity, with no less than 9 months of aging. Disgorgement removes sediment, while a touch of liqueur de dosage balances sweetness and acidity. Each bottle reflects generations of expertise and passion.
