Background

Tomás Postigo and his sons, Gabriel, Alberto, Juan, and Nicolás, run their Ribera del Duero winery for more than 16 years. They combine their passion and expertise to produce exceptional wines. Family is at the heart of everything they do, from vine to bottle. They value closeness, humility, and meticulous care. This extends beyond the family, with partnerships with trusted suppliers who share their focus on organic practices and quality. Together, they honor the founder's vision while shaping the winery's future.

Production Process

At Tomás Postigo, meticulousness starts in the vineyard. They hand-pick grapes in small boxes to avoid damage, then meticulously sort them at the winery. Only the best grapes make the cut, including Tempranillo (Tinto Fino), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec. These chosen grapes spend a year aging in French oak barrels from different forests.
