Background
Nestled in Borja, Spain's Zaragoza province, Bodegas Morca finds its home within the Gil Family Estates. A collaborative of wineries, they weave together their efforts to bring their wines to the world. Their journey began in 2014, blossoming from a small, experimental winery and their inaugural harvest. This marked the exciting start of their winemaking legacy.
Production Process
Hand-selected Grenache grapes, meticulously harvested from low-yielding vines, were fermented in small stainless steel tanks to capture their pure essence. Following this, the wine underwent a transformation in French oak barrels, where a natural process softened its tannins. After nearly two years of aging, each barrel was rigorously tasted, and only a select few were chosen to create this limited-edition masterpiece.
