Tasting Notes

Dressed in a deep ruby robe, Mil Cepas Cencibel offers a juicy core of ripe cherries and berries. Hints of spice and cedar, whispers of oak from aging, add complexity to the nose. The full-bodied palate echoes the fruit, with dark berries taking center stage. Smooth tannins and a lingering finish complete the picture, making this a delightful expression of Cencibel.

Background

After a decade refining his skills at the family winery, Manuel Manzaneque Suárez ventured out to establish his own vision: ¡Ea! project. Committed to delicious, high-quality wines, he turned to La Mancha, a region known for exceptional value. Partnering with dedicated grape growers, he sources Cencibel grapes from La Mancha's best old vines. Manuel also extends his expertise to consulting for other wineries, promoting the region's exceptional quality at reasonable prices. ¡Ea! expanded its offerings in 2013 with the Fatum line, a tribute to Spain's native grapes. The exploration continued in 2014 with Mil Cepas, a wine reflecting the unique character of its sandy soil.

Production Process

This wine features Cencibel grapes, aged for 30 years, sourced from Las Hoyas de Río Záncara, Cuenca. The grapes hail from a single plot, earning the "Vino de Parcela" label. The final product is bottled under the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla designation.
